On Monday, the Nigerian Bar Association’s annual general conference took place in Lagos, and the PDP and LP Presidential candidates in the 2023 elections were part of the dignitaries who attended.
Labour Party’s Peter Obi and the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar were at the venue to participate in the conference.
The Vice-Presidential candidate of the APC, Kassim Shettima, was also present at the conference. In contrast, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the NNPP were absent. The NBA confirmed the absence of the two politicians. They seem not to have confirmed if they will grace the conference.
Also present at the NBA conference include the Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, and that of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo.
The 2022 NBA Annual General Conference was held at the Eko Atlantic City, and the theme is “Bold Transitions.”The conference will run till the 26th of August 2022.
