Singer Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, aka Kizz Daniel, fulfilled his promise of a free show for his fans in Tanzania on Friday, August 12, 2022, after disappointing them earlier.
Recall that on Sunday, August 7, 2022, the singer failed to perform in Tanzania, leading to the fans trashing the venue where he was billed to perform. The fans’ actions led to the arrest of the Buga Crooner. He was later released and apologised to the fans and promoters, then promised them a free show.
Kizz Daniel performed excellently to the fans’ excitement as they sang along hysterically to his hit songs, including Buga, Oshe, Mama, and Yeba.
While the performance was ongoing, the Nigerian star paused to address the fan. He said, “I want to know if I have the real Kizz Daniel fans in the building tonight. I am talking about the fans from 2014 because I want to test you guys, and you have to pass the test. Are you ready to pass the test?”
He then sang some of his old hits songs, such as Woju, Laye, and One Ticket.
However, he suffered disruption during his performance due to poor sound from the technical crew. The Buga crooner improvised by abandoning his live band and relying on the DJ to finish his performance.
He did some remarkable things during the show; first, he dressed in the color of the country’s flag, and another was when he brought out the flag of Tanzania on stage and apologised for failing to perform last Sunday.
After the performance, he told the fans this: “I think I have to come back because I owe you guys a proper show because this sound is not making me enjoy my performance tonight. I promise you guys that I will come back. I love you, and I thank you and the promoters for coming out tonight.”
