Today Monday, the Abuja Federal High Court rejected an application filed by the Federal Government of Nigeria to extradite the embattled DCP, Abba Kyari, to the United States of America to stand trial over his alleged involvement with Ramon Abbas AKA Hushpuppi, a notorious internet fraudster.
The High Court judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo, while delivering the judgment, said that the extradition application FG filed through the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, SAN, was incompetent and unmerited.
