Olori Kafayat who happens to be one of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi is dead. This news is coming some weeks after the death of the monarch.
Our source revealed that the late Olori, the mother of Prince Adebayo Adeyemi, who goes by the alias D’Guv, passed on on Friday night.
We are yet to have full details about her death at the moment. However, the news was confirmed by the Director of Media and Publicity at the Alaafin Palace, Mr. Bode Durojaye, on Saturday morning.
According to Bode, “She died in the United States of America. I will give you the details later.”
Recall that Oba Adeyemi died on Friday, April 22, at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, after a brief illness at 83.
However, since Oba Adeyemi’s demise, Oyo has yet to get another Alaafin. We shall avail you details as soon as we get them.
