Super Eagles of Nigeria Crashes Out of AFCON, Cameroun 2021/2022

SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA

The Super Eagles of Nigeria could not soar today as Tunisia clips her wings, knocking them out of the round  of 16 in the African Cup of Nations(AFCON), Cameroon 2021 in 2022.

The North Africans side held the Super Eagles to a goalless first half, but surprised the Eagles with a lightning shot, two minutes into the second half earning a gaol throwing the Eagles off balance.

The Nigeria side Coach, Austin Eguavoen introduced Alex Iwobi and Peter Olayinka, and was shot-lived as Iwobi was sent off three minutes after coming on for dangerous play.

Tunisian side held the lead as they had a one man advantage over the Super Eagles as Alex Iwobi bagged a red card following a VAR review, changing his earlier caution to a dismissal.

Earlier in the day, the President and Commander in Chief, Muhammadu Buhari spoke to the Super Eagles in order to boost their morale, but it seems that did not work out.
