Omawumi– “Ikoyi Registry Wanted To Turn Us Back To Boyfriend And Girlfriend But Mercy Said No”

Singer-songwriter and actress of Itsekiri ethnicity Omawumi Megbele, known by her stage name Omawumi, has taken to social media to celebrate her 7th wedding anniversary with husband, Tosin Yusuf today, January 16.

The pretty mother-of-two, who is a brand ambassador for Globacom, Konga.com and Malta Guinness took to her Instagram account to post a video of herself and her husband, Tosin Yussuf. She shared that they have been holding their relationship down for 7years.

Recall Omawumi mid last year revealed that she was a baby mama for four years before her daughter’s father decided to marry her.

Omawumi and her husband had earlier in 2015 at an Ikoyi Registry, exchanged marital vows but did not until 2018, have their traditional ceremony at Omawumi’s hometown in Warri, Delta State.

She captioned the video:
