Former RRS boss DCP Tunji Disu replaces Abba Kyari as head of IRT

The Inspector General of Police, (IGP) Usman A. Baba, has now authorised the posting of DCP Tunji Disu as the new head of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).


The announcement of the IGP is on the heels of authority’s decision to fill the leadership hole inside the IRT and refocus the assemblage for greater future.


In accordance with police spokesman, CP Frank Mba, the IGP has charged the new head of the IRT to show his expert adequacy in his leadership of the team.


He additionally assured Nigerians that the IRT will stay concentrated within the discharge of its responsibilities according to country wide statutes and overseas foremost practices.
