Nigerian author, Reno Omokri, condemns the idea of church marriage in one of his latest posts on Twitter.
The former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, on Twitter, stated that God didn’t invent church wedding or going to registry to seal marriage.
Omokri branded church wedding a man-made arrangement, and claimed God’s process for marriage is in four steps, which he listed thus;
“MARRIAGE according to The Bible
Step 1: Man approaches Woman
Step 2: Man proposes marriage to Woman
Step 3: Woman accepts proposal
Step 4: They both tell their parents
End of process!
Every other thing, including CHURCH and REGISTRY, is MAN MADE!”
