Actress Halima Abubakar Defines 7 Types Of Rape

Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar gives more insight into rape for her fans, followers to have knowledge of ways rape can occur.

The curvaceous actress’ education came after comedian Princess accused actor Baba Ijesha of raping her adopted daughter when she was a minor and assaulted her as a teenager. The alleged abuse has been buzzing in the media for over a week, with different celebrities sharing their thoughts.

While Baba Ijesha remains in police custody, Halima Abubakar noted that rape is dishonourable, immoral all humans must outrightly condemn it.

Halima added that every man or woman in Nigeria that has a wife, a sister, a niece, or a daughter must understand that rape is a crime to human existence, and must be kicked out the country.

She stipulated that a rape apologist is “Someone who doesn’t appreciate the gravity of rape or believes the victim of rape bears some responsibility in being raped”.

The stunning actress listed seven types of rape as Date Rape, Marital Rape, Child Rape, Incest Rape, Gang Rape, Prison Rape and War Rape, with their definitions.


She defined Date Rape as a rape in which there has been some sort of romantic or potentially sexual relationship between both parties.

For Marital Rape, she said it is non-consensual sex between spouses. Child Rape, according to her post, is a sexual activity in which an adult uses a child for sexual stimulation or gratification.

Incest Rape is perpetrated by the same family members or close relatives. Gang Rape, in her explanation is when a group of people rapes a single person. Prison Rape and War Rape are self-explanatory, she added.
