Wizkid shares snippet from “Essence” video with Tems; Announces release date

Grammy award-winning artiste, Wizkid has announced 9th April 2020 as the release date for his song ‘Essence’.

The song, which he featured fellow Nigerian singer, Tems is the 11th song on his ‘Made In Lagos’ album that was released on October 30, 2020, by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records. It is the singer’s fourth studio (and second major label) album.

It turned out to be the favourite of the masses as they called for a music video to compliment it. Wizkid has listened to his fans and put toge ther great work to come out with the finest music video to the song.

He announced the release date through an excerpt of the video he shared on his Instagram page. Fans are to expect the video on Friday, 9th April 2021 on all video-sharing platforms.

Meanwhile, a Twitter user has revealed Wizkid contracted American-based music executive and record producer, P Diddy to executive produce his ‘Made In Lagos’ album but was ignored hence his failure to win the Grammy’s as a solo artiste.
