Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has joined the list of prominent Nigerians to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
Kunle shared a picture of himself taking the vaccine on Instagram on Thursday.
He wrote: “Don’t take it! Take it! It will allow them to monitor your movements! It will kill your organs! I have taken it! Got the covid vaccine yesterday. Iku to ba fe pami ko ma bo…”
Nigeria received 3.94 million doses of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine, manufactured by the Serum Institute of India(SII) and shipped via the COVAX facility on March 2.
The vaccination process began a few days later with health workers prioritised.
