Play Network to debut 'Osuofia Goes To Miami' in 2021

Play Network CEO, Charles Okpaleke has announced that the film production company is back on the drawing board for the production of a new sequel to 2003 blockbuster film, 'Osuofia in London'.

The 'Living In Bondage: Breaking Free' makers have confirmed the production of the latest instalment of the 'Osuofia' franchise.

The upcoming comedy titled 'Osuofia Goes To Miami', will reportedly be directed by Agozie Ugwu and will see veteran actor, Nkem Owoh make a comeback as the film's lead.

Okpaleke made the big reveal via Instagram on Friday, August 14, 2020. The award-winning filmmaker wrote, "One thing I can assure you is when cinemas return, we’ve got it all lined up for the viewers till 2023! It’s called back to back"!


First produced and directed Kingsley Ogoro, the 2003 comedy movie follows the story of a villager who visits London following the demise of his brother. His attempt to marry his brother's fiancee in accordance with Nigerian customs result in the movie's major conflict. A sequel to the movie followed in 2014.
