Singer Adekunle Gold reveals how many times he wrote WAEC and other O’level exams

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adekunle Gold has gone down memory lane by narrating how he wrote senior secondary school certificate exams several times.

The singer revealed how he wrote GCE and WAEC two times each, and sat for NECO before he could finally gain admission into the university.

Adekunle Gold also commended his parents for still being patient and believing in him even after he failed the entrance exams on his first sitting.

He made the revelation at a time that a father went viral on social media in a video which showed him raining slaps on his son for failing woefully after paying $21,000 school fees.

“I wrote 2 GCEs, 2 WAECs, 1 NECO. Fam! My Parents tried.” he tweeted.
