JUST IN: President Buhari instructs withdrawal of $150m from NSIA to support monthly allocations

President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly instructed that the sum of $150 million be withdrawn from the account of the National Sovereign Investment Authority(NSIA).

Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, the finance minister, made this known, while explaining that the money will be used to support the monthly allocations to the Federal Government, States and Local Governments.

The Cable reports that the minister of finance, budget and national planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, disclosed  this to State House reporters in Abuja.

Earlier on,  the President  had set up a committee with a mandate to make a quick assessment of the impact of coronavirus(COVID-19) on the country's economy
