| Thugs attack |
Gov. Obaseki, Oba Akiolu and Chancellor attacked by thugs at Oshiomhole’s Residence.
The convoy of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu and Chairman, Caverton Offshore Support Group, Mr Aderemi Makanjuola were reportedly attacked by thugs, while they were driving into the residence of National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
According to a report by The Nation, the VIPs were attacked as the entourage was making there way into Oshiomhole’s Iyamho residence shortly after attending the first convocation ceremony of the Edo University, Iyamho.

Mr Aderemi Makanjuola, was installed Chancellor of the institution at the event.
According to Police sources, the men were invited for lunch by Oshiomhole but were attacked by some group of suspected thugs.
