Hope For Lagos: Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Fufills Promise On Lagos Roads(Video)

A tour of Lagos State environs in September through October reveals that from Mosalalashi roundabout in Iyana-Ipaja to Pen-Cinema, Ogba road in Agege, Lugard Avenue in Ikoyi to Ahmadu Bello Way in Victoria Island, Aguda in Surulere to Oba Akran Road in Ikeja, NNPC intercession in Ejigbo to inner roads in Isolo and Mafoluku, and from Oladipo Bateye Street, in Ikeja GRA to Anthony Village and Mende, the streets in these areas are virtually in bad shapes; filled with potholes and craters.

However, the amiable Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, following a statewide inspection spanning days, declared a state of emergency on Lagos roads about two weeks ago.

Nollywood Times went to some strategic roads to find out what had been happening, after the Governor's declaration, and discovered that bulldozers, tractors, tippers has been rolled out to the major flash points identified during  his inspection of the bad roads.

Among the flash points is the Adekunle Fajuyi way and Oladipo Bateye Street, both in GRA, Ikeja. A visit to the area reveals that work have started earnestly at these points as can be seen in the video below from our reporter; Peter Marcellinus Uguge:
