Confusion in APC Benin over Obaseki’s alleged move to join PDP; Gov Makinde reacts as Appeal Court sacks him

The opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Edo State Chapter, has disowned a group, known as PDP Integrity Group, which claimed to have suspended some prominent members of the party over their alleged anti-party activities.

Those allegedly suspended by the Integrity Group were former Foreign Affairs Minister, Chief Tom Ikimi, former Chief of Staff to the President, Chief Mike Oghiadohme and former Minister of Works, Arch. Mike Onolememen.

Others were Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Senator Yisa Braimoh, Senator Victor Oyofo and the former leader of the House of Representatives, Tunde Akogun.....CONTINUE READING HERE>>>

Gov Makinde reacts as Appeal Court sacks him

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has reacted to the Appeal Court judgement on the application filed by the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adebayo Adelabu.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Monday, set aside the tribunal judgement which dismissed the petition brought to the court by Adelabu, challenging Makinde’s victory in the March 9 governorship election.
