The Nigerian Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders Forum (NENYLF) on Saturday, revealed that it is Allen Onyema’s business competitors that are collaborating with some US officials to bring the Nigerian businessman down.
The youth groups warned that nothing must happen to the embattled Onyema and his Peace Airline.
The coalition accused business rivals of Onyeama of collaborating with some people in the United States government to harass the businessman who they described as one of the finest in Nigeria.
The coalition consists the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF), the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide and the Ijaw Council Worldwide......

How US Kept Close Tabs on Onyema’s Financial Transactions (See Full Indictment)
A 36-page indictment filed on November 19, 2019 at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division, has shown that the US has been on the trail of Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema’s financial transactions for a long time, leading to his indictment for money laundering and fraud.
In an indictment filed on November 19, 2019 at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division, Onyema and Air Peace Chief of Administration and Finance, Ejiroghene Eghagha, were indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, three counts of bank fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit credit application fraud, and three counts of credit application fraud. In addition, Onyema was charged with 27 counts of money laundering, and Eghagha was charged with one count of aggravated identity theft.
Onyema has however denied all the allegations leveled against him and has expressed his intention to vigorously defend himself in the court. The Justice Department has also stated that the “indictment only contains charges” and “the defendants are presumed innocent of the charges and it will be the government’s burden to prove the defendant’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.”......

Thunder kills 17 cows in Osun
No fewer than 17 cows and two sheep were killed by a thunderstorm in Iba, in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
According to an eyewitness, who spoke to DAILY POST on Saturday, the incident happened on Friday at Gaa Eleesun, a community mostly populated by Fulani herdsmen.
It was further learnt that the thunderstorm, which struck around 6:00pm, also injured many individuals in the community, causing serious apprehension.
Speaking on the development, the leader of Gaa Eleesun community, Chief Jimoh Soliu lamented the loss of the animals...........

Allen Onyema: What Fani-Kayode said about US fraud allegation against Air Peace CEO
Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, has reacted to the US fraud allegations against Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema.
DAILY POST reports that Onyeama was charged with bank fraud and money laundering for moving more than $20 million from Nigeria through United States bank accounts in a scheme involving false documents based on the purchase of airplanes.
The US State Department of Justice (DoJ), in a statement posted on its website on Friday, (https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndga/pr/ceo-nigerian-airline-indicted-bank-fraud-and-money-laundering), said Air Peace Chief of Administration and Finance, Ejiroghene Eghagha, has also been charged with bank fraud and committing aggravated identity theft in connection with the scheme..........
