Last year, Benedicta Elechi, had a private birthday bash to celebrate her 40th birthday. It took place in her honour at the Southern Sun hotel in Ikoyi. The dinner saw many prolific guests in attendance, such as the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, Maria Elechi, Louie Duke, Slim Olobe Arije, Mannie and Grace Essien, Captain Stilo Oni, Captain Usoro and Dami Essien, Irene Iwerebon, Fifi Oniwo and several other people.
