Jackie Aina shares some pearls of wisdom on money, dating and career for young women |
Let’s be honest, being in your 20s is hard. It’s finally time to get a real job and at the same time, you’re juggling friendships with people who are just as confused as you are and don’t even get us started on dating. On top of all of that, you’re trying to figure out who you are on your own. Your 20's are a roller-coaster of emotions as you try and find your place in this world.
In your early twenties, it’s realistic to think that you have 10 years of freedom to pursue your goals before ‘settling down’, getting a real job, buying a house and starting a family and its a very unique time in your life.
For starters, one thing you discover upon graduation is that no one really has life figured out, people are just doing the best they can, but still have a lot of doubt, even when they're doing well. After the glow of graduation, adulthood will be a rough transition, harder than you imagine it will be.
Jackie Aina talks candidly about her own personal experiences from joining the military to getting married and divorced in her 20's.
It's like having a chat with your favourite girlfriend.
