The choices of housemates by organizers of Big Brother Naija had caused controversy at the beginning of the show but the reactions from viewers have since reduced, and fans are enjoying the wild ride.

One of the 21 Big Brother Naija housemates, Seyi Awolowo, a medical doctor, and a grandson of the late former Premier of the defunct Western Region, Obafemi Awolowo, featured on a popular MTN banner advert which is currently running.
