#BBNaija2019: Thelma & Esther get into a heated argument, Nigerians react

It appear the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show is getting hotter by the day. If they aren’t keeping people entertained with their dance moves and budding romance in the house, they are getting into fights.

Housemates Esther and Thelma got social media buzzing with their recent fight about the politically correct choice of word to describe a mentally challenged person.

They were given a challenge to come up with an educative play. Thelma opted to play the role of a mentally challenged person. However, rather than use a less offensive word, she called them imbecile.

Esther immediately tried to correct her but it appeared Thelma wasn’t ready to be corrected and insisted there was nothing wrong with her choice of word.

Esther maintained she needed to take corrections and it appears everything spiraled downwards from there.

Many social media users reacted to the fight and very few were on Thelma’s side.
