APC Imo Warns, If Oshiomhole Remains National Chairman, President Buhari May Be APC’s Last President

APC

The Imo State Chapter of the ruling All Progressive congress (APC), has predicted that the party should be ready for a great shock in the subsequent polls if Oshiomhole remained the national chairman of the party, after all painful defeats the party had suffered in the last polls.

The chapter chairman, Dan Nwafor, made this revelation when accessing the deluge of lingering crisis bedeviling the party under the leadership of Oshiomhole-led national working committee.

According to Nwafor, President Muhammadu Buhari may be the last president the party will produce if the former Edo governor is still allowed to hold the helms of the party's affairs, The Sun reports.

Commenting on the recent Supreme Court verdict on the ruling party in Zamfara state, Nwafor said the party will continue to languish in the pool of crisis in as much as Oshiomhole continues to rule the party with iron fist.

He attributed the lingering crisis in Imo state chapter of the party to selfish and dictatorial ways Oshiomole alleged conducted the party prior to the general elections.

The APC chieftain also maintained that crisis and the shocking defeat encountered in the last elections could have been averted had Oshimhole hearkened to the suggestions of other party members.
