Andy Ruiz Jr slams Anthony Joshua vows to beat him again |
Mexican Ruiz Jr, 29, shocked the sporting world when he knocked AJ out on June 1 to become the unified world heavyweight champion.
A rematch is expected to take place later this year but Ruiz Jr insists their will be no return to the throne for Joshua.
He said: “The rematch is going to be the same. I am going to be more prepared and more ready.
“I know his flaws. I can do a lot better. The only thing that he can do is just run around, he’s not good at boxing.
“People thought I wasn’t going to do anything, I was too big, too overweight.
“I don’t want to say all the things I am going to change.
“There is going to be a lot of changing, I am going to come at a better weight this time. It’s going to be a hell of a fight.”
Ruiz Jr was a late replacement for Jarrell Miller, after the American failed a drugs test, and pocketed a reported £5.5m for the fight.
And the California-born fighter used some of the cash to make amends for childhood mistakes.
