Turkey And Iraq Agree On A Military Cooperation, Trust Agreement

The Turkey President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday that Turkey and Iraq have signed a mutually beneficial military cooperation and trust agreement after day-long delibrations in the capital Ankara, Anadolu reports.

The Prime Minister of Iraq, Adil Abdul-Mahdi was received by his Turkey counterpart, President Erdogan, in an official ceremony at the presidential palace.

Both leaders exchanged views on several regional and international issues.

The President and the Prime Miniter, in a joint news conference after dinner, said the defense ministers and intelligence chiefs of the two countries will meet soon to discuss further details of the agreements.
