Kingsley Moghalu After losing elections says Nigerian youths are useless

Erstwhile presidential candidate Kingsley Moghalu has stated that Nigeria youths are a huge disappointment.

Shortly after losing in the 2019 elections, erstwhile presidential candidate Kingsley Moghalu shared his disappointment in the process which scored him only 21, 886 around the country.

Speaking with Arise News TV, Moghalu retorted that the Nigerian youths are a huge disappointment as they never back their words with actions.

Kingsley who appealed to the younger generation during his presidential campaign was left disappointed when he came out 14th in the election results.

In his words,

“The biggest disappointment was with the youths. The youth vote was absent. They make a lot of noise, they rant and rail but you will not see them on the voting day. And when they vote, they don’t vote in line with their rhetoric.”

Moghalu expressed his regret in the actions of the youth who he stated did not make their presence felt in the recently concluded 2019 elections.

It is true that the youth account for over 70 percent of the population in Nigeria according to reports but according to Kingsley, most of them who seem frustrated by the system refused to vote and attempt to change the status quo.
