Davido's Older Cousin B-Red Says Many People Think He Will be Jealous of Davido

It is lovely to see true brotherhood between family members rather than bad blood.

Nigerians and many music fans all over the world are aware of talented singer, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke. His songs have been able to top charts in many countries as he also has multiple awards to his name.

The singer might have millions of fans all over, but one of his biggest fans is his cousin, B-Red. The fast rising singer recently revealed how he handles the constant comparisons with his more successful cousin in an interview with Legit.ng.

The member of the OBO crew explained that people expect him not to be happy for Davido because he is older. However, he is very happy for his success because they are a family and it rubs off on him automatically.

He said:

“Funny enough, I’m very happy for my cousin. Many people will think that I’ll be jealous of my cousin because I’m older. No! This is a family. As he is getting bigger, me too I’m getting bigger because I’m his family automatically.”

Speaking further, the singer explained that he is always excited to hear his cousin’s songs whenever he is on a trip to foreign countries. He feels it is a blessing from God.

B-Red said:

“Every time I enter the car, Davido, Davido! I’m like wow! This is great! So, it’s a blessing from God because as we are in the same family, we dey move together.” Further in the interview, B-Red spoke on how he did not always have it easy and how he squatted with friends over his choice to pursue music rather than focus on his education.
