Fake Medical Facility Exposed in Cross-Rivers State

Nigerian Medical Association in Cross River State has shut down an illegal health facility in Ugaga village in Yala and also arrested one acclaimed health personnel.

The NMA Chairman in the state, Dr Agam Ayuk, who led a team to the illegal medical facility, said the association had received several petitions about the unprofessional manner in which the staff of the ”clinic” have attended to patients over the years.

The Chairman advised members of the public on the need to seek medical care from qualified medical personnel in duly registered private and public health institutions.

He warned those involved in the illegal practices to desist from the act or face the wrath of the law.
