Just In: Senate Move To Reconvene Tuesday, Debate Onnoghen’s Suspension

The Nigerian Senate has moved to reconvene on Tuesday, Channels Television has reported.

A source in the National Assembly disclosed that the lawmakers would reconvene, Tuesday to discuss the suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen as the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

The suspension of Justice Onnoghen was announced Friday, by President Muhammed Buhari and an acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mr. Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed was sworn-in by the President.
