Number one bestselling author and former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to once and for all prove that he is the ‘real Buhari’ by publicly accepting to debate Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Atiku, yesterday, after watching his running mate, Peter Obi, actively participate in the vice presidential debate took to his verified Twitter handle to express his delight in Obi’s performance at the debate, Oriental Times reports.
Atiku wrote: “I watched with pride as @PeterObi laid out our vision to get Nigeria working again. Can’t wait for the presidential debate. #2019Debate”
Quoting Atiku, Omokri challenged Buhari to accept that he will debate Atiku.The PDP Chieftain who is based in the United States opined that whilst Buhari will agree to debate Atiku, Jubril of Sudan will not.
He wrote: “Let us finally settle this Jibrin or Jibril matter once and for all. @Atiku said he “can’t wait for the Presidential debate”. If it is the real @MBuhari in @AsoRock, I challenge him to publicly accept that he will debate Atiku #2019Debate
“Buhari will agree. Jibrin will not.”
