| Muhammadu Buhari and The International Republican Institute |
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday received a delegation from the International Republican Institute (IRI) and the National Democratic Institute, (NDI), USA who are in Nigeria to assess pre-election preparations.
In a tweet, President Buhari said was an opportunity for him to again assure that he would ensure a level playing field for all contestants in 2019.
Members of the delegation included former US Assistant Secretary of State African Affairs and Senior Counselor of Albright Stonebridge Group, Ms Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
Also in the delegation is the Executive Vice President for Middle East and Africa of Graninster LLC, Amb Lewis.
Others are NDI Nigeria Resident Country Director, Mr Aubrey Mccutcheon.
