Former Military Governor of North Central State, Brigadier-General Abba Kyari, (rtd) has passed on at the age of 80 years.
President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolences to family of the deceased former military general.
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on media and publicity, in a statement, sent to the government and people of Kaduna, Katsina and Borno states on Sunday evening, Buhari said “we are extremely saddened by the news of General Abba Kyari’s passing away, an officer and a gentleman for whom we have a lot respect.”
He prayed to Allah to accept his soul, and grant his family and friends he left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.
