Saraki In Minna, Meets IBB Again

Dr. Bukola Saraki, Nigeria Senate President, on Sunday paid another courtesy visit to the former Military President, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, at his Hilltop Mansion in Minna, Niger state capital.

The Senate President who tweeted via his official Twitter handle an image of him and IBB, said he was meeting the former president before he sits down with the delegates and party executives of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

“Before my meeting with PDP delegates and party executives from Niger State, I paid my respects to General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his home in Minna,” he wrote.

It could be recalled that Saraki had met with IBB last month in Minna, after their joint world press conference, following the siege on the National Assembly, by the DSS.

According to a DAILY POST report, the consultation meeting was for “direction on the way forward in view of recent happenings”.

Before the IBB meeting, Saraki and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara had met with Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.
