Osun Rerun: INEC Frowns At Beating, Arrest Of Journalists By Security Agents; Says ‘It’s Troubling’

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has reacted to reports of ongoing assault and arrest of accredited Journalists and Elections Observers at the Ongoing Osun re-run elections.

The commission said this in a statement via twitter;

“INEC is disturbed about reports that accredited media and observers are being arrested or prevented from operating in some polling units. This is being taken up with the security agencies.
