Edwin Clark’s House In Abuja Raided By Police

It has been reported that the house and premises of Elder Statesman, South-South leader and former Senator, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark,  has been raided by the Police on Tuesday.

According to the report, the Policemen came into the house, searched all the rooms alleging that they were in the house to search for arms which they accused him of keeping.

The media report has it that the Policemen arrived at the Asokoro residence of Chief Edwin Clark at 1.30pm, and left the premises at about 2.30pm.

However, no incriminating evidence or ammunition were recovered in the house, the report added.

A source close to the Chief said that the Policemen came on the assignment on the orders of the Inspector- General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.
