CACOL Discloses Another President Buhari’s Aide Who Should Resign, Over Forgery, Following Adeosun

President Buhari

Following the resignation of the Finance Minister, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, the Centre for Anti-Corruption and Open Leadership, CACOL, has revealed an Aide of the president who should also resign now.

CACOL, has therefore called on President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Prosecutions, Obonlo-Obla, to resign with immediate effect.

Yesterday, the news of the resignation of the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun over her NYSC certificate forgery saga, took everybody by surprise, however some people said it is long overdue.

CACOL sometime ago had called on the Minister to resign her appointment.

The Centre said that Obla’s position was even less acceptable given the fact that it pertained to the forgery of a school certificate result.

Comrade Debo Adeniran, the Executive Chairman of CACOL, made the call for the immediate resignation of Obonlo-Obla  in a statement yesterday.

The statement stated:

“We could as well say that Adeosun has completed her course, only that she didn’t do the mandatory one year service.

“But for Obonlo-Obla, that is even worse, that means that he doesn’t have the technical capability to carry out the duties he is carrying on.

“So, he should be made to resign,” he said
