Senator Barnabas Gemade, former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman and former Minister of Works, has in a statement Monday morning, announced his defection from the PDP to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
It could be recalled that Gemade was one of the 14 All Progressives Congress (APC) Senators, who defected to the PDP some weeks back.
The Senator while giving reasons for dumping PDP, alleged that the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom betrayed him over Benue North East Senatorial ticket.
