Few weeks ago, the viral report of 2018 UTME highest scorer took over the internet and major news platforms, following the announcement of JAMB of the highest score in 2018 exams.

The brilliant young man, who had the highest mark was Israel Galadima, an orphan from Borno state, brought up by a single mother.

However TosteMedia has shared a throwback pictures of the young man when he was in primary school.

Israel Galadima, attended Salvation International School in GRA Ikeja, Lagos and came out with the best results as the best graduating pupil, in 2012.

The brilliant performance of Israel, attracted the Governor of his State, Kashim Shettima, the Borno State Governor, who invited him along with his mother for recognition and the Governor announced a scholarship award of N5million for the boy to study Electrical Engineering at the Covenant University, in Ogun State.

The Governor did not only announce the scholarship figure but paid cash for it, stating that as his tenure comes to an end in 2019, he would not want a situation where the mother of the young man, will be coming to Maiduguri to ask for the money.
