Don’t Hold Me Responsible For Kwankwasiyya Group’s Defection From APC In Edo State — Obaseki

Gov. Godwin Obaseki

Gov. Godwin Obaseki, the Executive Governor of Edo State, has stated that nobody should hold him responsible for the defection of some members of the Kwakwansiyya group in the All Progressives Congress in the State.

Crusoe Osagie, the Governor's Special Adviser, on Media and Communication Strategy, in a statement said; “The focus of Governor Obaseki is governance and getting the dividends of democracy to the ordinary Edo people.

“While he holds every member of the political party in high esteem, his first loyalty is to the Edo masses.

“They are the ones whose mandate he carries and they always come first.”
