President Donald Trump of the United state has received the president of Kenya, Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta to the White House.

Recall that NollywoodTimes had reported that the Kenyan President would be the second African President to be received by the US President, Donald Trump to the White House since his assumption of office.

According to the Vanguard, Trump while speaking with journalists briefly before moving inside the presidential hall, he welcomed his Kenya counterpart and opined that his visit would strengthen their relationship.

On his part, Kenyatta thanked both the United States number one citizen and the first lady, stating that his visit would strengthen their Trade and investment relationship.

Mr. Kenyatta speaking further stated that his major reason for coming was to seek for the United States assistance in fighting terrorism and improving their economy.

It could be recalled President Muhammadu Buhari had visited the US President, Donald Trump on April and said that his meeting with Trump was sweet and would yield results on economy, security and anti-corruption in Nigeria.

But on Trump side he had told Buhari to protect Nigerians against spate of killings.

“We are deeply concerned by the religious violence in Nigeria, including the burning of churches and killing of Christians. We encourage Nigeria and the federal, local, and state governments to do everything to immediately secure the communities and protect innocent civilians, including Muslims and Christians.”
