Kayode Fayemi wears bullet proof vest under his buba as he embark on his campaign

The Ekiti governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Kayode Fayemi, is taking the security of his life to another level following a lot of security concerns regarding the campaign for the race governorship race for the July 14th poll in the state.

The former minister of Solid Minerals Development, was reported by Maiyegun Diary's Live, to be putting on a bulletproof vest under his Buba while on campaign recently in Ekiti.

It could be recalled that a policemen who was on illegal duty from Lagos to Ekiti State, allegedly'accidentally' shot during an APC rally early this month with Fayemi and other dignitaries present. The stray bullet hit Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) who is presently receiving treatment in a London Hospital; courtesy Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Media reports has it that, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has concluded his visits to all the 133 communities across the state ahead of the July 14 poll to seek and rally support of voters.

He said he will provide visionary leadership through his Eight-point Agenda to redirect the state to the path of growth and development after four years of rudderless leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

Fayemi also warned Governor Ayodele Fayose against illegal collection of workers' voter cards through coercion, saying the voters have inalienable right to vote for the candidate of their choice.
