Femi Fani-Kayode Applauds President Buhari For His June 12 Speech

Yesterday President Buhari hosted the Special National Honours Investiture, for Late MKO Abiola the acclaimed winner of June 12 Election 1993, his running mate, Ambassador Babagana Kingibe and Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi.

In the speech delivered by the President he unequivocally tendered an unreserved apology on behalf of the Federal Government.

Mr Femi Fani Kayode, a social and current affairs analyst has commended the President for such a humble yet wise move.

"On behalf of FG of Nigeria, I tender an unreserved apology for the injustice done to democracy on June 12 1993. Nigerians will no longer tolerate the perversion of justice witnessed in the annulment of the freest election in our history"-@MBuhari.
