Armed Robbers That Operates In Police Outfits & Vehicle Arrested In Rivers State

Operatives of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (FSARS) have apprehended a six man gang of suspected kidnappers and armed robbers operating with police coloured Ford ranger jeep and police accoutrements in Rivers state.

Two pump action guns and police protective vests were recovered from the suspects on the 18th and 19th of June.

The suspects identified as Tony Raphael, Ifeanyi Okoye, Chigozie Onuigbo, Emeka Nwaiwu, Clark Sunday and Chinedu Isia - are said to notorious armed robbers who always operate in police outfits to rob victims.

On preliminary interrogation, the suspects has confessed to be responsible for numerous kidnappings and armed robberies in Rivers state and it's environs.

The suspects are now helping the Police to further their investigations and will be charged to court once concluded.
