Police Apprehend Senator Ovie Omo-Agege For Stealing The Mace
The Operatives of the Nigeria Police has arrested Senator Ovie Omo-Agege immediately after the plenary.
The lawmaker was placed on suspension by the Senate for 90 days last week, however, attended the plenary today.
Earlier in the plenary, the Mace of the House was snatched and the Senate had accused Omo Agege of leading the armed men who stormed the chamber and snatched the mace while plenary was on.After the plenary, policemen excused Omo-Agege from the door of the chamber into a waiting pickup van and was taken away for questioning.
