APC Party Crisis Deepens As Thugs Invade Party Secretariat In Umuahia.
The All Progressives Congress, APC in Abia state crisis has deepened as Thugs invaded the party secretariat last week leaving some party members with severe injuries.
According to an online report,by Politics the two factions involved in the crisis in the Abia state chapter of the party is Chief Orji Uzor Kalu and one Chief Ikechi Emenike.
The fracas left two persons being seriously injured and currently battling for life at a medical facility in Umuahia.The incidence happened on the ever busy Azikiwe road, Umuahia where the state headquarters of APC is situated.
Eyewitnesses reports indicate that trouble started after the group led by Kalu were holding their meeting at an event centre in Isi Court umuahia when they received reports that the Emenike led faction have broken into the party’s secretariat to hold their own meeting.
On receiving the information, thugs and cultists were mobilized to move to the secretariat and attack Emenike’s group with the intention of forcibly taking over the party’s secretariat.
On arrival at the secretariat, they met stiff resistance from the Emenike group who fought back. Watch the video below;
