Court Of Appeal Orders Continuation Of Dino Melaye’s Recall Process From The Senate

The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has finally ordered a continuation of the recall process earlier initiated by INEC to recall  Senator Dino Meleye representing Kogi West Senatorial District.

The Senator had filled an application at the Appeal Court, Abuja, challenging the recall case against him at the Federal High Court, Abuja. The Appeal Court, Abuja has ordered that the process of recall should be continued by INEC,  ruling that the Senators' application has no merit.

However, INEC is yet to issue a statement regarding  the date the recall will be
re-initiated following the Appeal Court judgment.
