The Venezuela socioeconomic crisis is biting seriously and this has led a lot of exodus of Venezuelans to neighboring countries like Columbia and Brazil.
Venezuela has undergone serious socioeconomic crisis even since Hugo Chávez's tenure; their late president and which has extended over the years into the current presidency of Nicolás Maduro.

Because of the crisis thousands of desperate Venezuelans had been trying to enter Colombia and Brazil in a bid to escape the hunger and soaring crime rate caused by the biting economic crisis.
The pictures herein show the mass exodus of refugees crossing the Simon Bolivar international bridge trying to flee the political crisis threatening to engulf Venezuela.

Colombia and Brazil has tightened their borders by deploying extra soldiers to patrol the ever porous borders.
Both countries (Columbia and Brazil) has already officially taken more than half a million migrants over the last six months of the last year.


The economic crisis has led to lawlessness in parts of Venezuela's capital Caracas, with the major targets by hoodlums on heavy duty truck drivers conveying food.Credit: dailymail.co.uk
