Fayose Storms Ipao Ekiti With Security Men Over Herdsmen Killings

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State had an impromptu visit to Ipao Ekiti town today following the killing of one man in the community by men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Sunday. The controversial governor, who was out of the state came in on Monday evening and  immediately mobilized Soldiers, Policemen, Civil Defence and local hunters to the town to prevent further loss of lives.

The Governor sounded a warning to the people against taken laws into their hands and directed that a committee should be set up to look into the immediate and remote causes of incessant attacks in Ipao Ekiti and surrounding towns.
"Anyone who kills will be fished out and punished in accordance with our laws and no one should kill cows here too," Governor Fayose said.
