A woman by name Chiamaka Ukeji who recently accused of kidnapping a little of 5 years has confessed to the crime at Ogbo - Ekere, Luwe - Nneiri in Osuachara ward Isiala Mbano LGA, of Imo state.
She confessed that she has sold the girl in PortHarcourt, Rivers State to an unknown woman.
Angered by this development, youths of the town moved to her house and occupied the premises with palm branches and attempted to destroy her house but were stopped by one Hon. Julius who pleaded to the youths not to take laws into their hands.
According to an eyewitness, the incident happened on Monday evening, 22/01/2017 at Ekere, Luwe - Nneiri in Osuachara ward, Isiala Mbano Imo state.
The eyewitness revealed that he saw when the little girl entered into the house of the accused woman to take something and maybe she was was drugged and later smuggled away by the woman.
Sources disclosed that the father of the kidnapper (name withheld) who seems to be the prime suspect was apprehended to produce the girl and he directed them to his daughter, Chiamaka. Police operatives stormed the house of the woman, where she confessed that she has sold the 5yr old girl to a woman in PortHarcourt through a contact she got from someone. She also confessed to the police that she has sold more than 4 little children from the community to people in Rivers State which included her own child that she gave birth to through an unwanted pregnancy.
The father of the victim by name Mr. Ikechukwu Ebeofor who had been crying and said the 5yr old girl is his last hope. He also prayed to see his daughter alive.
Investigation into the matter is in top gear at the time of putting up this story.
