Youths Set Their Red Caps On Fire In Protest Of Kwankwaso's Planned Visit To Kano State.

The hatred of the former governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has seriously been demonstrated by some youths of the state as they took to the streets to set their red caps ablaze in protest of the planned visit of the former governor to the state.

The red cap according to them was made popular by the former governor, Sen. Kwankwaso during his second tenure as the governor of the State and it is seen as a sign of loyalty and acceptance of the political beliefs and ideologies of the former governor.

According to security findings, the planned visit of Kwankwaso has raised serious security concerns in Kano State, as  possible clash between the supporters of the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, and the side of Kwankwaso is perceived, most especially as the factions has planned political rallies on the same day.

According to the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, Rabiu Yusuf, on Friday, told journalists in the State capital that “although Senator Kwankwaso has the right to visit the state, credible information at the disposal of the Command” revealed that there are security threats.

However Senator Kwankwaso has insisted that  he will visit the State because of the planned political rallies of the mainstream APC in the state.
